NitroSecurity Unveils Industry’s Highest Performance Security Information Management Solution

NitroSecurity, a leading provider of high-performance network security monitoring, analysis and protection solutions, today announced the general availability of its next generation NitroView Enterprise Security Manager (ESM) with Integrated Network and Security (INS) architecture – based on the Company’s patented NitroEDBTM relational database technology. The Company will be giving live demonstrations of NitroView ESM’s 100x performance advantage at the upcoming RSA Conference in San Francisco (booth #451), February 5th-9th.

NitroView ESM is an appliance-based solution offering centralized network and security information management capable of true relational “deep packet” aggregation and correlation of millions of network flows and security events in real-time. This enables enterprises, for the first time, to combine the needs of real-time security event management with forensic log analysis into one ultra high-performance, massively scalable solution at a cost point below that of individual stand alone solutions. The latest version of NitroView ESM collects logs, events and flow information from a wide variety of network and security solutions, including: NetFlow, sFlow, firewalls and IDS/IPSs, allowing enterprises to easily integrate NitroView ESM into an existing security infrastructure.

  • and a lot more

Exponential market growth further validates the need for a high speed and patented database delivering both real-time and forensic visibility into network and security posture. According to Forrester Research Analyst Natalie Lambert in her December 2006 report, The State of Security in SMB’s and Enterprises, “Of the five technologies Forrester asked about, NAC and SIM were the most widely deployed technologies by enterprises. 59 percent of enterprises plan on investing in Security Information Management by mid-2007 alone.”

The first release of NitroView ESM in June 2006 accepted event and flow information from NitroSecurity IPSs and has led to a company sales increase of 300 percent throughout the year. Further contributing to the Company’s momentum, recent customer and channel partner wins include: The U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne Division, QUINN-direct Insurance, Department of Justice, Department of Energy, Talisman and the Company’s reseller and system integrator, Khipu Networks.

“NitroView ESM is a high-performance alternative to the deployment of complex and costly enterprise security information management solutions,” said Andrew Brimson, Director Khipu Networks Limited. “The ultra-high performance Integrated Network & Security Architecture of NitroView is a real differentiator that provides our customers with an in-depth network security view of their infrastructure and systems - at a considerable lower cost of ownership.”

“NitroView ESM addresses the needs of mid- and large-size enterprises by providing an integrated, high performance, and more scalable network and security management solution than any other on the market,” said Ken Levine, Chief Executive Officer of NitroSecurity. “With NitroView ESM, enterprises that have been unable to justify comprehensive security information management solutions due to cost and complexity can now benefit from this single-point solution.”

NitroView ESM is currently available.
