ipMonitor Releases version 7.5 of its Secure Network Monitoring, Alerting and Recovery Software

ipMonitor Corporation announces the immediate availability of ipMonitor Version 7.5, the latest version of ipMonitor, award winning Network Monitoring, Alerting and Recovery software.

The theme of this major update is “ease of use”. Many new usability features have been added that make it easier for administrators to get up to speed with ipMonitor and take advantage of its advanced monitoring, alerting and security features.

ipMonitor 7.5’s list of new features and productivity tools include a 5000 Monitor License Tier to accommodate large network environments, Getting Started & Common Tasks interface, enhanced Help Systems based on customer feedback, HTTP Monitoring via proxy, Authentication for QA POP3 and QA IMAP Monitors, improved support for SNMP trap forwarding, Credentials Wizard, Internal Maintenance Scheduling, and new saveable searches for filtering Monitor lists.

ipMonitor CEO Gary Hamilton says, “With 7.5 we set out to shorten the learning curve for new customers. We added a new Getting Started interface, which includes a tour that highlights many of ipMonitor’s key features and offers tips along the way. We also added in the Quick Start and Common Tasks sections. ipMonitor Technology Overview
ipMonitor is a web-based monitoring, notification, recovery, and reporting tool used to monitor the health of applications, servers and TCP/IP enabled equipment via the Internet and internal networks. It operates as a Microsoft® Windows service, and runs on 2000/XP/2003 workstations and servers.

In the event that quality of service degrades, thresholds are exceeded or failures occur, Alerts are triggered to notify network administrators. ipMonitor also supports methods to correct problems and recover service.

New 5000 Monitor Licensing Tier
ipMonitor 7.5 now offers the ability to license and configure up to 5000 monitors from one installation. ipMonitor 7.5 in available immediately for Windows® 2000, Windows® XP and Windows® 2003. It may be purchased directly from ipMonitor Corporation for $995.00 US. This price includes licensing for 500 monitors and 12-month Customer Service Agreement.
